AIHA Annual Stakeholder Event A Huge Success

AIHA STAKEHOLDER EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS

With a sell-out crowd of 1,100 attendees, world-class feature speakers, project updates, a compelling panel discussion, and an entertaining fireside chat with Stephen Harper, the 2020 AIHA Annual Stakeholder Event was filled with memorable moments and valuable networking opportunities.

A big thank you goes out to our event sponsors!  Our 2020 event attracted unprecedented sponsorship support, helping AIHA deliver a program jam-packed with timely and relevant topics. On behalf of the AIHA Board of Directors and staff, we thank all of the speakers, presenters, sponsors, and delegates for your ongoing support of our event.

Again this year we were pleased to welcome to our stage prominent elected officials, key industry partners, and renowned feature speakers. The presentations provided insight and perspective on relevant industry topics, including Industrial Heartland project updates, the circular economy, Alberta’s economic outlook, international trade and geo-politics, and Alberta’s competitive position in the global petrochemical industry.

Creating awareness on these topics and highlighting the Industrial Heartland’s competitive advantage to investors is our focus as AIHA drives towards our goal of 30-by-30, which we believe will see our region attract an additional $30 billion in capital investment by 2030. Collaboration, coordination, and meaningful dialogue is key to advancing Alberta and Canada’s critical petrochemical and downstream energy sectors.
