AIHA Hosts Minister Amarjeet Sohi

This week, AIHA was pleased to host The Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities.  The full day event included a presentation and overview discussion on the Industrial Heartland and a first-hand tour of the region.  Special thanks goes out to our friends at North West Redwater Partnership and Pembina Pipeline Corp. for touring us around their Heartland facilities and for highlighting the sustainability growth initiatives happening in the region.

Chair Ed Gibbons, along with AIHA’s Board members Mayor Roxanne Carr, Reeve Wayne Woldanski, and Mayor Tom Flynn were glad to show the Minister the innovation and sustainable development work currently being driven by industry in the Industrial Heartland.  Also in attendance was AHIA Executive Director Mark Plamondon, AIHA Government Relations Manager Lynette Tremplay, and AIHA Business Development Office Krysten Bachmier.
